AN INTEGRATED LABELLING SYSTEM INTO A NAIL POLISH PACKAGING LINE
CUSTOMER REQUEST
Integrating a labelling system into a nail polish packaging line. The basic requirement was to have a body label applied on a side and a production lot printed label at the bottom of the glass bottles. The filling line was set to produce no more than 50 pieces per minute. The customer required 3 fundamental criteria for a machine being:
- SIMPLE
- EFFICIENT
- ACCESSIBLE
OUR SOLUTION
After a careful evaluation of the types of bottles to put on the packaging line, we decided to use a COMPACT series system, particularly suitable for the use required.
To apply the bottom label we used a COMPACT BS-L system complete with a LABELX JR labeler equipped with a thermal transfer printer printing the production lot. The system consisted of a parallel motorized side belt transport unit carrying the bottle while labelling its bottom.
To apply the side label we provided a COMPACT DS-H system equipped with an upper stabilizer device conveyor belt transport unit and with a LABELX JR labeler put on the side of the system.
ADVANTAGES FOR CUSTOMERS
These solutions provide the customers with two really flexible systems which can be used both on separated packaging lines and on the same line to apply two labels on the same bottle at the same time.
All the COMPACT solutions are very simple to manage and do not require particularly qualified professionals. In the end they guarantee productive and efficient results higher than expected by the customer.
